Division III – Recreational U11 – U19 Boys and Girls

Designed for players who enjoy the sport for the social aspect as well as developing their skills, recreational teams in these age groups are formed through assignment of all interested participants to a team. No tryouts.

Administrator may place players on teams without consulting coach.
  There is a requirement that coaches make every effort to play each player at least 50% of each game.

 

HYSA has STRICT deadlines and coaches and players must meet the deadlines for registration of players and coaches set by the TUFC administrator.  Those not meeting the deadlines will be subject to a $25 registration late fee and teams risk the possibility of not being bracketed/scheduled for the season.

 

Registration is ONLINE only and payment must be made via credit card or echeck. 

Registration Fee to TUFC – $260.00 paid in two equal payments of $130 each.  First payment is due at time of Fall registration.  Second payment will be automatically processed on January 2, 2014 for the Spring 2014 season.

If a player is not returning to TUFC they will need to notify the administrator via email by December 15th so the automatic payment scheduled for January 2nd can be cancelled.

Puma Uniform - $138.50 which includes 2 jerseys, shorts, socks and a backpack (good for 1 year or more if no uniform change).  If a player already owns the PUMA uniform and it still fits this fee is deducted from the approximate cost below.

Player cost Fall season $268.50 ($130.00 + 138.50).  Spring season $130.00.  Total for Fall 2013/Spring 2014 is $398.50 with uniform or $260 if uniform is already purchased.

Potential additional fees - If a team chooses to use professional training or a player ends up on a professionally trained team the fees will be for 8 v 8 (U11 and U12) $700 per year or $70/month for 10 months.  For 11 v 11 (U13 and up) $900 per year or $90 per month.  These fees will be set up on automatic payment.

Tournament fees range from $30 - $40 per player.  Teams decide how many tournaments to enter.

3 bracket strengths for teams to choose from:

o    Red Strong (RS) – eligible for Fall post season playoffs.  In the event of advancement to post season play teams must be prepared to travel to district or state tournaments.  TUFC does not cover travel expenses.

o    Red Average (RA) – no post season playoffs

o    Red Weak (RW) – no post season playoffs

At least 50% of games should be played at Bear Creek Park.

Travel to other HYSA fields.

Failure to follow HYSA rules incur fines which teams are responsible for.  TUFC does not pay team fines.

U11 and U12 teams will play small-sided 8v8, minimum roster of 10 and maximum roster of 14. 

U13 – U15 teams will play 11 v 11, minimum roster of 13 and maximum roster of 18

U16 – U19 teams will play 11 v 11, minimum roster 13 and maximum roster of 22 but only 18 players may be suited up.

Fall season 10 games and possibility of post season play (see bracket strengths above). 

Spring season with 8 – 10 games and no post-season play.
